The Gathering is a yearly event held here at Barr Run Farm and Forge. Throughout the weekend we have open forging as well as a special project we forge together so everyone who participates has something to take home. Along with forging; we spend time together in fellowship, sharing skills and other crafts. 

• Meals - Food will be provided (we encourage bringing your favorite snacks and drinks from your region) (no alcohol)
• Who can Attend? -  Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you are not a blacksmith. We encourage bringing the whole family.
• Cost - The event is no cost to anyone attending. We do appreciate any donations to help offset the cost of the event expenses.
• Event - We will mainly be forging during the weekend. While we do have tools in the shop, you are welcome to bring your own tools and forging items as well.
• Lodging - Plenty of spots for tent camping, limited number of RV Hookups (electric only, RSVP) and hotels available in towns close by (Hillsboro, Mt. Orab and Wilmington)
